The month of May brings a few key happenings that will test you or bless you, depending on how you choose to see it. May starts off with a need for ease and rejuvenation with Venus and Jupiter meeting up in Pisces on April 30th, which just so happens to also spark off eclipse season with a solar eclipse in Taurus the same day.

Things get a bit more dicey as Mercury Retrograde creeps in on May 10th, reminding us to slow down and think before we leap... and speak. Then, on May 15th, we have a total lunar eclipse in Scorpio that's sure to dig up any skeletons that you've been trying to hide away and ignore.

Needless to say, May will be a very humbling month for many. You can either choose to see it as a punishment, or take a step back and see the bigger picture coming together shift by shift, flow by flow.

🐏 ARIES (March 20 - April 19)

King of Wands: Last month you had the Hermit reversed which asked you to step out of the cave and into more clarity with the wisdom you acquired during your time of reflection. This month you're being asked to reconnect to your passions and step back into a leadership role. Channel your ambitions into manifestations and use your individuality to inspire others. 9 of Cups: Your cups runneth over this month, Leo, so be sure to stop and smell the roses because you've earned it. The Chariot (rx): You may have the urge to force your way forward this month, but right now the Universe is asking you to take a pause to assess things before taking action. When The Chariot is in reverse, there's a sense of a false start or an intentional delay that's necessary before charging forward. Use this time to dot your i's and cross your t's, especially with Mercury Retrograde happening May 10th. Take your time, do it right -- all good things in good timing.

🐂 TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)

The Hermit: There's something that needs to be unveiled to you but that can only come through meditation or introspection. Be mindful of when your body and energy are asking you to take a step back to gain more clarity (or confirmation) on a situation. There's no need to rush things along, this time away is intended for you to reconnect with your inner wisdom so that you may come out of this season more connected and empowered. When that "missing piece" is finally unveiled to you, then you'll understand why you were asked to take a step back and allow the Universe to do what it needed for you to know which path to take forward.

🌾 VIRGO (Aug 23 - Sept 22)

Queen of Cups: Oh, Virgo, this is the month to really reconnect to your heart-center and allow your intuition to guide you through the choppy and uncertain waters of May. When you feel your emotions getting out of hand, simply remind yourself that you are in full control and have the power to redirect your energy out of your head and into your heart. You may need to show yourself more tender loving care this month than usual, so don't feel guilty filling up your cup.

Page of Swords: You may have the urge this month to jump into some sort of new beginning (job, project, studies, etc.) that requires you to trek uncharted territory. Don't let fear or inexperience hold you back because this may be the opportunity for which you've been wishing and hoping. Be open to learning, growing, and seeing things with fresh eyes -- it's time to write a new chapter in your life, so be sure it's the adventure of your choosing. Let this be the beginning of something beautiful that will blossom over time and grow into a dream manifested.

3 of Cups (rx): It's time to get real with yourself to see where you're allowing other people, situations, and ways of thinking to deplete you. Do some reflection on why you're allowing these energy-sucks in your life. Are you overcompensating for something in which you feel deficient? Are you doing for others what you don't have the courage to do for yourself? Are you escaping? Consider all these things this month to find the cause of the "leak" and remedy it before it leaves you high and dry.

⚖️ LIBRA (Sept 23 - Oct 22)

2 of Swords: You may be face with a tough decision this month that needs to be made but the way forward isn't so clear just yet. Try not to rush this decision or feel the need to. Also, try not to get too in your head about things or allow failures/doubt from the past to cloud your judgement. Right now, let your intuition direct you toward the chosen path and trust that you can and will make the right decision for yourself. If you need support or a second opinion, ask a trusted source but, ultimately, do what you feel in your heart to be true.
